Nueva entrada en el blog «Soy una larva»

A los datos me remito:  “El cáncer de mama es una enfermedad que afecta anualmente a más de 22.000 mujeres en España, de hecho se estima que este tipo de tumor se presentará en una de cada ocho mujeres“.

A los hechos me remito, vivo en carne propia el dolor, el terror y la luchacontra el cáncer. Hay mil maneras de vivirlo, mil maneras de lucharlo y algunas maneras de contarlo.

Es verdad que, desde la terrible noticia, leo las noticias sobre el cáncer con atención y aprensión.

Aprensión por las estadísticas, por el buen rollismo, por la falsa fantasía con la que se trata de quitarle hierro a la palabra. Cómo si normalizando la palabra, la enfermedad fuera a ser menos mortal que, para qué nos vamos a engañar, sigue siéndolo. No vayan a creer que soy negativo, en casa vivimos la supervivencia al cáncer con toda la extensión de la palabra(porque los que acompañamos también somos damnificados) con toda la coherencia y toda la crudeza, pero es que los lazos rosas, los anuncios de Ausonia, los testimonios donde sólo se resalta lo positivo y las frases como “motivos para celebrar” me ponen malo.

Superarlo una vez, se puede. Pero si se pone insistente… No obstante, hay que asumirlo y aguantar, que nunca se sabe cómo reaccionará nuestro cuerpo. Ánimo, de corazón.
